2. Data Processing Activities And Data Processing Purposes When You Visit Our Website

a. Data Automatically Collected
When you visit our websites at www.localike.com, www.lokalike-newyork.com oder www.localike-roma.com, the browser on your device automatically sends information to the server on our websites. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes listed above for data collection. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.

b. Data You Provide To Us
If you use our contact form or chat, we ask you to provide your name, e-mail address and telephone number. We use your personal data only for the purpose of providing you the service or information requested by you. We will store this data on our serves for as long as necessary to provide the services or information requests, unless a longer retention period is based on our legitimate interests or prescribed by law.

3. Cookies

We use cookies on our site. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site.

4. Analytics Tools

We use tracking tools to ensure the design and continuous optimization of our website. We use the tracking measures to record the use of our website statistically and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our offer. Within the scope of application of the GDPR, the tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out based on our legitimate interests on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 f GDPR.

For the purpose of the continuous optimization of our pages and its design, we use Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. c. Use of Twitter and Twitter Conversion Tracking
We use Visitor Action Pixel by Twitter Inc., 1355 Market Street, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103, USA (“Twitter”) for our online presence. This way, we can track the actions by users after said users have viewed a Twitter ad or clicked on a Twitter ad. This allows us to detect information on the effectiveness of Twitter ads for statistical purposes and for our market research. The data gathered in this manner are anonymous for us; in other words, we cannot see the personal data of given individual users. However, Twitter will store and process these data; presently, we will notify you of this fact to the extent that we ourselves have knowledge of it. a. General

  • this is legally permissible and necessary for the execution of contractual relationships with you (in the scope of application of the GDPR, the justification according to Art. 6 para. 1 letter b GDPR is decisive in this case).

b. Payment Services
Your credit card transactions for the purchase of the products and services offered through our websites are handled entirely by PayPal, Amazon, ApplePay, Square or Authorize.net (as you choose).

PayPal, Amazon, ApplePay, Square and Authorize.net do not forward your data or any other information they collect to process transactions through our website to us, or otherwise provide us with any access to your credit card information. We store your data for no longer than necessary in relation to the purpose under which such data was collected.
